Refund Policy
Alter & Oak products are often handcrafted, made to order, or produced in small batches. For this reason, all custom or made to order items are final sale unless they arrive damaged or materially defective.
Non custom items may be eligible for return within a limited period if unused, uninstalled, and in original condition. Requests for returns must be approved in advance. Shipping fees are non refundable unless otherwise required by law.
Customers are responsible for inspecting items upon delivery. Any damage must be reported promptly and in accordance with the procedures outlined in the Shipping Policy. Failure to report damage within the required timeframe or without proper documentation may result in denial of a refund or replacement.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original form of payment after the returned item is received and inspected. Alter & Oak reserves the right to refuse refunds for items showing signs of use, installation, modification, or improper handling.
Terms for gallery partnerships, commissioned work, or special client arrangements may be governed by separate written agreements.
