Shipping Policy

​Alter & Oak ships products within the continental United States using trusted parcel and freight carriers. Many items are handcrafted and made to order. Processing times vary by product type and are provided at the time of purchase.

Engraved Scripture tablets are typically handcrafted and shipped within 5–7 business days from the date of order. This timeframe reflects small-batch production, finishing, and quality review. Custom furniture, fixtures, and large pieces may require extended lead times, which will be communicated prior to fulfillment.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on item size, weight, destination, and delivery method. Larger items may ship via freight. Freight deliveries are curbside unless otherwise arranged. Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and accessible delivery conditions.

Upon delivery, customers must inspect all items immediately. Any visible damage must be noted with the carrier at the time of delivery and documented with photographs. Failure to note damage upon receipt may void eligibility for claims or replacement.

Once an order is transferred to the carrier, risk of loss passes to the customer. Alter & Oak is not responsible for shipping delays, loss, or damage caused by carriers, but we will assist with claims when proper documentation is provided.

Local pickup may be available by appointment. White glove delivery or installation services may be offered upon request and are quoted separately.

International shipping may be available upon request. Customers must contact Alter & Oak prior to ordering to confirm availability, pricing, duties, taxes, and delivery timelines. All customs fees are the responsibility of the customer.
